1983 Joseph Drouhin Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru

Brick in appearance with a watery pink rim. Smoky nose, dried leaf aromas, a touch of tomato juice, maple syrup and celeriac? The palate is showing its age, ominous and a touch metallic at first, tomato juice and celery flavors, meatiness. The wine is limping along. While not dead, this one is over for sure.
